Спасибо за активную самостоятельную работу. Практические занятия также входят в наш курс, и я рада, что вы в основном справились.
Напомнинаю, при всем дружеском отношении бездельники получат незачет и не войдут в команду проекта.

Теперь несколько слов о составленных вами вопросах. Пока они далеки от совершенства. И вот почему. В такого рода соревновании сам вопрос должен быть мини-рассказиком, конкурсант наслаждается прекрасным английским языком, узнает некий новый факт, а ПОТОМ на основании прочитанного отвечает на вопрос, вытекающий из этого рассказа. Все ваши вопросики получились куцые и коротенькие. Почти «да-нетки». Ответив на них, конкурсант ничего не поймет и не запомнит. Просто выберет какой-то ответ и все. Обучающий эффект будет нулевым.
В нашем случае, поскольку мы ТЕПЕРЬ ЗНАЕМ (УРА!!!) , что ответы на первый тур пройдут в компьютерном классе школы под присмотром нашим или учителей, у ребят НЕ БУДЕТ времени прогугливать исходные тексты, так что мы смело можем взять красивые и объемные отрывки из сети про ЕДУ/ГОТОВКУ/РЕСТОРАНЫ и так далее, привести их в «теле» самих вопросов первого раунда, а на их основе уже сделать multiple choice только там, где можно придумать интересные отвлекающие моменты (два других ответа), а остальные сделать-таки открытыми, чтобы можно было впечатать слово или даже словосочетание.

Salvador Dalí’s Real Masterpiece: The Logo For Chupa Chups Lollipops

The Catalan lollipop made its first appearance in 1958, when the company founder Enric Bernat hatched the idea of placing a bonbon on a stick. He called the product «GOL,» imagining the candy as a soccer ball and the open mouth a net. It didn’t go over well. So Bernat hired an ad agency that renamed his product «Chupa Chups» (from the Spanish chupar, meaning “to suck”). All that was left was the branding. In 1969, Bernat complained about what he had while having coffee with his artist friend—none other than Salvador Dalí.

K примеру:

5. Или на поиск соответствий — животное и детеныш/мясо.

Вопросы были бы хороши, неси они в себе интригу. В целом это просто рассказы . Хорошо, что автор вопроса ссылается на источник. Это — более научный, систематичный подход. Задания на лишнее слово — не формат для конкурса.

Общие замечания по первой попытке составления food idioms — идея с идиомами о еде хороша, но исполнение очень слабое! И задача сформулирована примитивно, и варианты неправильно написаны. Это должны быть РАЗВЕРНУТЫЕ расшифровки идиомы, такие цветистые, чтобы конкурсанта правда запутать, иначе очень просто. Хорошо бы с юмором! И уж конечно, в правильном ответе не должно быть повтора ключевого слова из вопроса!!!!!! Не могут также быть варианты ответов то существительными, то прилагательными, такой разнобой непрофессионален!

Нужно написать по-английски в таком стиле (чтобы все варианты, как бы подходили!):

Чтобы разнообразить задания, мы решили сделать вопросы не только Multiple Choice, но и другие. Это верно! Multiple Choice — все-таки — примитив, если не сделать их как-то особенно хитро!

Сама история интереса, что Кока-Кола — и вдруг лекарство! Но весь смак ее исчезвет за скобками — например, что коричневый цвет прикрывал отсутствие разных примесей. (Кстати, этот момент, при внимательном чтении источником не подтвердился) И вопрос становится в своем «готовом виде» скучным и примитивным. Вы спрашиваете — Популярный напиток, который раньше считался лекарством? Ну и что? Остается только click the button. а вся интересная история осталась за кадром, Мы ничему конкурсантов не научили. А лучше сделать так (по размышлению, лучше сделать вопрос про Коку открытым, а не Multiple choice, потому что это дает возможность всяко ее описывать и такими «ключами» вести к ответу.	question:Name very popular soft drink that originally used to be medecinal. Нужно научиться задавать вопросы, в тексте которых находятся КЛЮЧИ к разгадке, или подробное описание отправляет конкурсантам к ФОНОВЫМ знаниям, которые у них должны быть на этом этапе развития!
